In Davenports opinion, you must be more than a power hitter to beat Hingis. You must be consistant and dangerous. Even though she lost this match, Davenport remains upbeat and feels that if she plays well she is capable of beating anyone!
The more interviews I attend the more I realise that top players do not get too down on themselves when they lose and also don't go crazy when they win matches. It seems to me that they manage to keep very level headed about results, realising there is another match right around the corner.
