Movement Drills
The Circle Forehand Exercise
By Pat Etcheberry, Trainer To Many Grandslam Winners
In this video clip
Rochus highlights the points raised in Pat Etcheberry's 'circle
forehand exercise.' Rochus shows great dynamic balance (his
head is very stable), he is proactive with his right leg and
he manages to get his body weight going forward so he can
really attack the ball. |
|
You can see how Rochus tracks the ball and in a semi circular
direction moves around his backhand to strike an aggressive
inside out forehand. Rochus shows with his footwork how
he can compete with the bigger stronger players on the ATP
Tour. His speed and accuracy of movement enables him to
attack with his stronger shots.
For more than twenty years Pat Etcheberry has been providing athletes from around the world with the winning edge.
