'Part II: Whole body training, using a medicine ball'

Here is an effective drill that can help players of all ages understand how their whole body can be used in a tennis stroke. The weight of the ball can vary, in this video clip Ben and myself use a light football, however, as his technique improved we progressed onto a 1kg ball. As the weight of the ball increases it is important to use the whole body, in particular the legs. If the player uses only his back or arms, injuries may occur. Make sure the technique is correct first!
