Simon Grieve - Tennis Coach

Simon received a tennis scholarship from Francis Marion University, South Carolina, captained the team during the 1992/93 season in which time they were ranked 11th NCAA II and graduated with a B.Sc. degree in psychology.

He then worked for the Van der Meer tennis Academy in South Carolina for two years. During this time he gained the USPTR Professional qualification, worked with many WTA Tour players and travelled with juniors to world-class tournaments including the Orange Bowl and the Grand Slams.

Since returning to England in 1997, Simon has travelled with the ITF touring team around Europe, has passed the LTA's Performance Coaches Award and helped develop the Maidstone Tennis Academy. In 2007 Simon was appointed the Head Performance Coach of the East Kent Tennis Academy and the Director of Performance at the Canterbury Indoor Tennis Centre. He currently works with a number of promising juniors.
